Battlestar Galactica alumni Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer return with yet another risqué calendar. The 2016 calendar was released over the weekend as part of their charity drive Acting Outlaws. The calendar is available for purchase for 32.37 euros and features a monthly picture shot by Dennys Ilic. Go pick it up at RedBubble.com. Acting Outlaws is a charity focusing on issues such as the Gulf Oil disaster and various other issues. So if you want to spend some money on a good cause!

The calendar, of which you can see a preview in this post features some risqué pictures but nothing over the top. Just like past years I will briefly mention what Tricia Helfer and Katee Sackhoff have been up to.

Tricia Helfer

After last years miniseries Ascension failed to receive a second season there was a gap between acting roles. She briefly guest-starred on Suits as well as Con Man and she did some voice acting work for Falling Skies and StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void. In 2016 viewers will be able to see Tricia on the Sony sponsored show Powers which during its first season features Sharlto Copley, Eddie Izzard and Michelle Forbes in a very of-beat Marvel superhero show.

Katee Sackhoff

Katee has just finished a successful fourth season of Longmire. The last season was produced by Netflix to critical acclaim. In October a fifth season was confirmed for production. Meanwhile, gamers could also see her likeness and hear her voice in the latest Call of Duty gamer, Black Ops 3. The future does seem unclear. A long-rumored TV-series, Rain, which features Sackhoff as both writer and executive producer has seen its release date slip, though I am hopeful we will hear something early in the new year. Katee has been for a while rumored to play a role in a Marvel production. Various roles were suggested by fans but so far nothing solid. Meanwhile a new Riddick movie and series has been announced. Due to the open-ended nature of Riddick 3 I am sure she will be back to star next to Vin Diesel.
