Some users might have noticed that SciFiEmpire.net now loads a bit more smoothly. During the last few months I have noticed a slowdown due to a number of plugins I use. Investigating the matter I decided to ditch a large number of them for a just a few – the best of the bunch. Using Google’s PageSpeed API I have been testing the site for speed, with good results. But more still needs to happen and as such from time to time the site might be down. Try to empty your browser cache if that happens. And tell me what you think of the alterations!
