The third episode of Revolution will be entitled ‘No Quarter’ and will air next Monday, October 1st. The last episode saw the introduction of Nora played by Daniella Alonso. She seem s to act as an effective counter weight to Miles’s presence a each seem to be guided by a deep sense of personal honour but they go about it in very different ways.
Recap of Revolution ‘Chained Heat’…
Charlie and Miles try to free Nora, a friend of Miles, in the hopes that she will help them gain access to General Monroe’s camp. Nora reveals that she allowed herself to be captured in order to get a rifle for the resistance.
Charlie’s brother Danny and Captain Neville continue their journey as captor and prisoner to Monroe’s camp, a journey filed with danger when one of the guards gets killed in a standoff.
Flashbacks reveal how Rachel Matheson ( Elizabeth Mitchell) was forced to kill a man to protect her family just after the blackout. Scenes between Maggie and Aaron show that Arron knows the blackout is artificial, they speculate what would happened if one day it would be over.
The final scene of the episode reveals that Rachel Matheson is still very much alive and is working for General Monroe under duress, he reveals that her husband Ben is dead and her son Danny is being held captive.
Conclusion; I like this second episode more than I did the first which was a bit predictable. the mystery surrounding the Blackout seems to be better handled requiring less ‘suspense of disbelief’.
Score; 8/ 10.
View rating; 9.5 million. Which is a decent number.
