The Force Awakens poster preview
Last Friday (the 4th) was the official day that all the Star Wars The Force Awakens merchandise went online. Disney and LucasFilm coined it Force Friday. I am not really big on action figures, most of the stuff seemed cheaply made. I will probably get an action figure as a memento to the movie, but I will buy from one of the more expansive brands, probably a Captain Phasma figure or even Kylo Ren. Instead, I was irked that there was no official poster release. Fans had been speculating for a while that the official poster would be released on the fourth. Of course we have ourselves to blame for that not happening but nonetheless Disney has met us part way and released some previews of the official movie posters. They are not yet high-resolution, so you can’t use them to decorate your desktop (that honor still goes the screencap of the X-wing flying above the lake). Enjoy preview poster below. If you are also interested in some high quality gear of The Force Awakens then you can drool more down below. First up is the Hasbro black series storm trooper of the First Order. This one was announced back in June but still looks incredible next the Disney stuff. The price is advertised as around 25 $.
However, Disney has released a number of action figures under the elite brand. They are 6 inches tall, on average, but the Captain Phasma toys over 7 inches tall.
Tamashii Nations SH Figuarts have also released a number of action figures which have a bit of the Dark Side about them.
Last but not least there are the Hot Toys figures. The detailing on the Kylo Ren figure is phenomenal, but it will set you back a whopping 225 $. See the sideshow website.
This was my The Force Awakens poster preview. I hope you enjoyed the roundup of the action figures.
