Terra Nova cancelled!

After having been away for a week from my website an unpleasant surprise awaited me. News that Fox’s would-be flagship sci-fi show Terra Nova had been cancelled. In the last few weeks rumors were that a second season was probable. Alas it is not to be.

That said, it can’t come as a complete surprise as the show had it fair share of problems. The premise was OK but the scope was far too narrow. The drama was childish and the plot mostly superficial, though there was promise.

PS, Fox is showing the series to other channels but I am not getting my hopes up for them to pick it up.
