Guardians Of The Galaxy Extended Trailer

Guardians of The Galaxy poster Zoe Saldana - Guardians Of The Galaxy Extended Trailer

When I first heard Marvel was releasing a movie called Guardians of Galaxy I presumed it was just another movie featuring Thor or Loki. We have just had our Captain America movie so I doubted he would be featured. Little did I know that GoG was an already established franchise that has been running in comic book form since 2008. However, when I saw the first trailer I just fell in love with the potential. The non-too-subtle humor and the good looking special effects seem to offer a lot of promise. The movie, directed by James Gunn, stars Chris Pratt as Star-lord. In actually he is Peter Quill, a young man abducted in the 80’s and raised by space-smugglers. The movie also stars Zoe Saldana and Vin Diesel. The movie is based on the following premise:

In the far reaches of space, an American pilot named Peter Quill finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan. In order to evade Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a group of misfits including Gamora, Rocket, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand – with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
