One more month until the fifth season of Game of Thrones will air. Somehow it feels as if the stakes are getting higher. A sentiment shared by Daenerys Targaryen when she compares the fight for the Iron Throne as being similar to a wheel. Dany’s answer is to break the wheel. This season Game Of Thrones finally catches up to events of book 5. It incorporate material from A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons. Yet it is unclear how much of the latter is left for another season should George R. R. Martin not able to finish the sixth book The Winds of Winter in time. While speculation is rampant as to what the plans are of the show creative staff we still have one incredible season to look forward to. Today, HBO released a second trailer that is considerably more revealing than the first. So I think a SPOILER ALERT is warranted.

Game of Thrones Season 5 is set to start on April 12th, exclusively on HBO. For a new season its has a large number new cast members as the story now also adds Dorne to the mix. New cast additions include Alexander Siddig, Jonathan Pryce, Jodhi May and Keisha Castle-Hughes. Some actors who skipped a season also return, notably Ian Gelder as Kevan Lannister. That and the blood-letting of the last two seasons means Game of Thrones continues to evolve just as the novels have. However, the show is notable for its different take on events compared to the books. I may not be an expert but I don’t think Jaime visited Dorne. Anyway, report back to SciFiEmpire.net in April for the season’s first review and see whether Dany can break the Wheel! But somebody somewhere will break something. That much is guaranteed.
