Game of Thrones S5Ep6 ‘Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken’ Preview
Season 5 of Game Of Thrones hurdles along at a fast pace. Five episodes have already passed and this season has seen drastic changes. That said, for some the storyline feels slow or disjointed. At times I would agree with that sentiment. The transfer of the source material has not been perfect. Keeping Tyrion in the game is an obvious nod at the series fanbase after so many other regulars have been culled. Yet, the culling has only started. Only one can climb the stairs to the Iron Throne.
Game Of Thrones is not perfect. Hard choices have been made to keep the story going. The death of Ser Barristan in episode 4 was almost unforgivably in my opinion. I would have loved to have seen his character rule Meereen as in the books and see a character discover himself. Of course more characters are in mortal danger: Jorah has been infected, Stannis has Brienne after him, the Boltons have Stannis after them and meanwhile the High Septon has imprisoned Loras Tyrell. From the trailer below it becomes apparent even Petyr Baelish is at risk for his past misdeeds as a brother owner. Whether his confrontation with the Faith has been arranged by Cersei remains unknown. The list of those in danger can also be set to include Cersei, Sansa, Jaime, Bronn, Jon Snow and Tommen. Meanwhile the ratings for the fifth season have for the first time in recorded history dropped below that of the previous season. Though may have been due the early leak of 4 episodes.
