It’s been a true rollercoaster ride for BSG: Blood and Chrome. First intended as a series of webisodes but then scheduled as a full tv series. Syfy channel passed on this last deal when they made the shows pilot starring Luke Pasquaino last year. Then there were rumors that after the pilot the series would continue on animated. It would seem that the Syfy Channel has come up with the bright idea to first release the pilot to the audience to see what they think. This decision has also been made because more BSG follow-ups have failed to materialize. Now word has reached SciFiEmpire.net that the pilot will be released as a series of webisodes starting November 9th! From the underground trailer that we showed earlier this year the shows format stays true to Ronald Moore’s death and drama format, or rather blood and nudity as BSG: Blood and Chrome will also get a unrated Blu-ray release in the near future!

As for the background plot of BSG: Blood and Chrome…

Set in the tenth year of the First Cylon War, the story follows William Adama as a young man, with the call sign “Husker.” William, being a recent Academy graduate, is assigned to the newest battlestar in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. He is ordered to escort a young woman, who eventually turns out to have vital information that carries significant importance to certain Cylon secrets. He is accompanied by Coker Fasjovik. The routine mission eventually turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal part in their story.
