Star Wars Battlefront is back! During the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim a teaser trailer was show for the new Star Wars Battlefront game. The game would actually be the third iteration in the Battlefront franchise. As it has been 10 years since the second game was released the franchise is starting over as a reboot. The new game takes place during the Original Trilogy but will have tie-ins with Star Wars The Force Awakens which is scheduled for release on December 18th. The Force Awakens also had a teaser trailer shown at the Celebration event which made ripples in the...

New Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer Released!

New Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer Released! Finally after months of hearing arguments about the merits of having crossbars on a lightsaber we as Star Wars fans are entertained by a new trailer. The second teaser trailer for Star Wars The Force Awakens reveals a great deal more than the first, but plenty of the principal cast have been left out. There is also only a hint about what the plot for the movie could be. The latter is something I prefer not to see until Star Wars 7 is put into general release on December 18th this year. The teaser makes it...

Star Wars Episode 7 trailer released

The Dark side, and the Light…. Finally, after almost two years of hearing how Star Wars episode 7 has been in production fans will finally get to see some footage. In all the excitement about the trailer that has been slowly building for weeks you would almost forget Jurassic World debuted a trailer as well. Yes, I know what you’re thinking. I saw, it was crap. Well, it was really! Bryce Dallas Howard is hot, Chris Pratt is cool but the hybrid dinosaurs idea just stinks. And you who put the kid from E.T in there? Anyway, forget about JW. Star...

The Inquisitor recieving information. Star Wars Rebels Gathering Forces Review

Star Wars Rebels Gathering Forces Review

I thought it time to write a review of Star Wars Rebels, the new Star Wars animated series that replaces The Clone Wars. After the pilot and the subsequent 7 episodes I have come to like this show. The 22 minute duration makes it snappy if a bit short. The humor is top-notch but the series is not afraid to show a darker side either. It’s not like it got much of a choice after previous series. I think Rebels has the wonderful opportunity to broaden the coming story line that will be revealed with Episode 7 from J.J. Abrams. Star Wars...

Disney announces new ‘Canon’ Star Wars literature

This morning the Walt Disney Company announced that the Star Wars literature and comic-books know as the Expanded Universe is not canon. Fans have been dreading the announcement ever since the first rumors started about Episode 7 some 10 years ago. Now it would seem that all those novels and comics are ready for the trashcan as Disney announces it will release 4 new ‘Canon’ novels as a tie-in for next years new Star Wars movie. I myself won’t mourn the Expanded Universe much, ever since the Yuuzhan Vong invasion it has been little more than junk. The amount of derivative work was just...

New slave Leia picture found (that means Carrie Fisher in a Metal Bikini)!

So, what now? You just might be thinking. Has George Lucas changed his mind on whether Greedo shoots first or was it definitely Han Solo. Or has it been confirmed that one of the spin-off Star Wars movies is going to be a mash-up with other J.J. Abrams franchises such as Mission Impossible and Star Trek. No. Someone uncovered a new image of Carrie Fisher as slave Leia wearing the infamous metal bikini she wore in Star Wars Return of the Jedi. The image uncovered was taken circa 1983 on a beach in California. The idea of slave Leia has both its supporters and detractors. Personally...

CEO of Disney Mr. Bob Iger has confirmed that besides the upcoming trilogy of Star Wars movies we will also be getting some standalone movies set for release around the same time. As you guys probably heard by now the first movie, Star Wars 7, is scheduled for a 2015 release and will be directed by J.J. Abrams. So far, no details are known about the standalone movies but it does seem that Disney intends to recuperate the roughly 4 billion it paid to get the franchise quickly. I hope it won’t come at the cost of the franchises creative quality. Somehow I got this image...
