Revolution season 2 banner - Elizabeth Mitchell, Billy Burke, Tracy Spiridakos and Giancarlo Esposito

Revolution season 2 trailer from Comic-Con!

The Comic-Con bliss continues with NBC releasing a lengthy preview trailer of Revolution’s second season. The trailer starts as so many before it with a brief recap of events of the first season. Then it shows the rather disheartening moments after Randall Flynn launches the ICBM’s at Philadelphia and Atlanta. It would seem that Aaron’s attempt at switching off the electricity to shut down the missiles will be in vain. That much has already been revealed by other sources. The trailer...

Tracy Spiridakos as Charlie in Revolution

Revolution season 1 finale ‘The Dark Tower’ Review!

The finale. And so the first season of Revolution has ended. To many it should be it’s only season but we will be getting another one at the end of the year. I have not yet decided whether Revolution deserves a reprieve as it is very rough and certainly not all diamond underneath. The season finale ‘The Dark Tower’ tries its best to make up for all the mistake and give viewers a reason to tune back in this fall and for...

Elizabeth Mitchell as Rachel Matheson talking to Monroe - Revolution

Revolution S1 episode 18 ‘Children of Men’ Review!

Revolution has been a in a dark place for some episodes now. At first the second half of season 1 saw some good improvements but quickly episodes started stalling and make impossible leaps in character development. The low point was when Monroe’s right hand man Jeremy Baker (Mark Pellegrino) was killed off. Last weeks episode was a bit of an improvement but it still forced Charlie and Miles in particular to fly in a helicopter they had stolen in order to...

Revolution renewed for second season – NO JOKE!

Revolution renewed for second season – NO JOKE!

Yes, its true… NBC has officially renewed their supposed ‘flagship’ for another season. Personally this gives me mixed feelings. Revolution is an OK show and I certainly don’t want to see any sci-fi series get cancelled. However, there are plenty of things wrong with Revolution that would make we doubt anyone is really interested in a second season. I can almost imagine the show being wrapped up confidently after just one season. The opposite of ‘Lost’ if you get my drift....

Revolution ‘The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia’ Review!

Revolution ‘The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia’ Review!

As there is much to see on TV these days I will just write a mini review of Revolutions latest episode. As the title may spoiler the episode finally takes us to the  Georgia Federation were President Foster (Leslie Hope) holds the scepter. Rachel and Aaron meanwhile make their way to the Rocky Mountains but stop by an old acquaintance who reveals more secrets about the nanites. The plot outline for ‘The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia’… Paranoia strikes Monroe deeply...

Review of Revolution – The Song Remains the Same

Review of Revolution – The Song Remains the Same

Review of Revolution – The Song Remains the Same…. Last week’s episode of Revolution ‘Ghost’ was a very effective pace setting episode. It redirected Revolution away from the ‘save Danny’ story arc from the first half of the show. However, many fans were upset with the myriad of goofs and flaws in the episode. Bringing a sword to a gun fight is still something the writers need to ‘make work’. This week’s episode, ‘The Song Remains the Same’, has fewer...

Revolution ‘The Song Remains The Same’ Preview!

Revolution ‘The Song Remains The Same’ Preview!

Tomorrow the thirteenth episode of Revolution will air. Since the return of Revolution after it’s hiatus fans have received one dud episode and one that was above-average but suffered from some sloppiness. Last week’s episode (Ghosts) certainly set the stage but suffered from improbable knife fights and characters doing things for no obvious reasons. Early indications are that tomorrow’s episode will certainly up the ante. By the looks of it Major Neville will be captured by the resistance and Rachel is set to explain why the blackout occurred....

Revolution WonderCon Trailer Revealed!

Revolution WonderCon Trailer Revealed!

Despite the fact that I didn’t write a review of last week’s episode of Revolution I can promise I am still very committed to the show. The previous episode existed mostly out of necessity to wrap up the storyline of the first half of season 1. It was OK stuff but hardly brilliant. To sum it all up. Danny boy bought the farm. Monroe has teamed up with Randall Flynn to get the electricity back on. Miles, Nora and Rachel are heading...

Revolution The Last Stand Preview!

Revolution The Last Stand Preview!

In two weeks time NBC’s Revolution will resume its schedule with the last 10 episodes of season 1. The first episode is entitled ‘The Last Stand’ and continues where the explosive cliff-hanger ended. Despite the first half of the season being so-so the remaining episodes are highly anticipated by fans. The show has been in the danger zone for a while now because despite an intriguing premise it is a bit off-balanced when it comes to the quality of the action and...

Revolution webisode ‘Enemies of the State: Part 1’ Online!

After the animated webisodes called ‘Wheatley Letters’ fans of Revolution can now enjoy a live-action webisode series. That would tie them over until March 25th when the series will return to air the second half of season 1. This live-action webisode series of called ‘Enemies of the State’ and will feature David Lyons as General Monroe and Giancarlo Esposito as Captain Neville as the central characters. It will deal with the aftermath of Billy Burke’s character Miles Matheson’s attempt to assassinate...

Revolution pictures spoil March 25th return!

Revolution pictures spoil March 25th return!

NBC has been so kind to post two stills and a new poster of their flagship TV-show Revolution. It is not much but at least the poster is way cool. Shame there is no HD version. If you can’t wait until March 25th for your shot of Revolution then watch the webisodes called ‘Wheatley’s Letters’ on YouTube. In the meantime I suggest that re-watching the first ten episodes. Especially the scenes between Rachel Matheson (Elizabeth Mitchell) and President Monroe (David...

All present Science Fiction TV-shows listed (2013)!

All present Science Fiction TV-shows listed (2013)!

All sci-fi series 2013 listed. With Fringe ending and Alphas cancelled, so soon in the wake of the cancellation of Alcatraz, Terra Nova and Eureka you might be wondering just what Sci-Fi TV-shows are even on the air. For example, last year I only found out about Continuum just a few days before the release of the pilot while browsing the web. On various forums people seem to like the show but the first time they heard about was when it started...

Revolution ‘Nobody’s Fault But Mine’ Mid-season finale Review!

Revolution ‘Nobody’s Fault But Mine’ Mid-season finale Review!

Finally, our gang have managed to reach Philadelphia. So far it is has been quite a journey for both the characters and the quality of the show as both have seen clear ups and downs. This episode that will mark the mid-season finale had the dubious duty of preventing this show from being cancelled after what can only be described as viewer fatigue, it seems to have lived up to expectation for the most part. As for the plot of ‘Nobody’s...

Revolution Kashmir Review!

Revolution Kashmir Review!

The ninth episode entitled Kashmir is the second to last to air before Revolution will take the rather long break until late March. Unfortunately Kashmir was hardly the game changing episode that the show needed in order to secure proper viewer ratings when it will return to air. Instead, Kashmir can be best described as a bottle show intended to save funds for the mid-season finale airing next week. This may raise hopes for the next episode but also means that Kashmir...
