Another Prometheus viral video is making the rounds before the movies early June release. These viral shots are almost becoming as famous the movie itself. This promo shot features Noomi Rapace (swedish version of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) calling Weyland for reinforcement. It is eerily moving as it sort of gives the feeling that Weyland knew what was going to happened.
Thanks to the boys from Collider.com we now have the full length trailer for Ridley Scott’s upcoming flick Prometheus. the trailer is apparently a bit spoilerisch so everybody who can wait until June 8th should try to do so.
The trailer seems to emphasize action and Charlize Theron, a combination that rarely loses from what I heard.

On June 1st Ridley Scott’s Prometheus should hit the cinema but until then we can expect to be teased with plenty of pictures and artwork. Which is what I am showing here below. After lasts weeks TED talk featuring Guy Pearce as the future Peter Weyland we now have another tease, this time it is a high res picture of the star map as seen in the movie teaser trailer.
Everyone familiar with the Alien franchise will know the name Weyland-Yutani, it is the name of the powerful conglomerate that in one form or another is an important part of the franchises back story. Now as a tie in to the upcoming Prometheus we get a viral-ad featuring Guy Pearce as Peter Weyland.

Last month the official teaser trailer for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus was released and now the international market will get its own trailer, albeit one very similar to the teaser trailer. Alas it contains little new footage but somehow its a lot more crisp.

Prometheus – International Teaser Trailer #1… door addictomovie
I must say that the horror aspect of this trailer is a lot more pronounced, so far I haven’t really been enticed by Prometheus. When I first saw the candy color costumes I though Ridley Scott had made a serious error but now I that I have seen the rest of the decor I am starting to warm up to this flick. If only The Dark Knight Rises could do the same.
Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo – 2009), Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender. The movie is scheduled for a June 8th release.

Finally the long wait is over, after many trailers of the trailer we get the teaser that kind off explains what Prometheus is all about. Apparently is an Alien prequel! Despite Ridley’s comments to the contrary.

Now if I do say so myself, that is one hell of a trailer. Better than The Dark Knight Rises anyway.
The first official poster for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus has been released. It features a giant head which might be suggestive as to the origin of the aliens from the 1979 classic. Prometheus is set to be released on June 5th next year and I expect a teaser trailer to arrive soon.

The buzz surrounding Ridley Scott’s prometheus is definitely increasing. The last weeks or so has seen the revelation of murky set pictures and trailer. Suffice it to say Twentieth Century Fox was not amused by the leak of either material, complaining the piss-poor quality of the trailer would be a let down.
The real version of the trailer has been promised to be released soon in all it’s 3d glory, until that time we have to make do we these high res stills from the set of Prometheus. Here too is a snippet from a press release….
