Fringe ‘Wallflower’ Review!

Fringe ‘Wallflower’ Review!

Well, Fringe is gone for now. This weeks episode was until the hiatus is over in january. This weeks episode of Fringe was called Wallflower and personally I think it was season 4 best yet. As for the plot… Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), suffering from a late night migraine, runs across her fellow agent Lincoln Lee (Seth Gabel) at a 24/7 diner, and despite Lincoln attempts to make romantic advances on Olivia, she feels unable to show feelings in return. Meanwhile, Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson), having been allowed to live on his own under guard, attempts to figure out how...

Fringe ‘Wallflower’ preview!

Fringe ‘Wallflower’ preview!

Well, after 7 episodes ending with this weeks ‘Wallflower’ Fringe will take a hiatus and won’t be back until january. Which is strange as this season has only just starting to get interesting. Fringe’s creative team however should use the hiatus to try and rethink their aproach to this season because so far it has been a tad dull. The promise of an end to long story arcs hasn’t been fulfiled either as Peter’s disapearance and return is still the weekly plot. As for today’s episode of Fringe. While Olivia copes with migraines, she and her team investigate an invisible...

Fringe ‘And Those We’ve Left Behind’ Review!

Fringe ‘And Those We’ve Left Behind’ Review!

Now that I have seen the sixth episode of Fringe I kind of get the feeling down which road the producers want to go, they certainly want to hold off from any big storyline and antagonist and focus a bit more on drama (like season one in fact). It may entice new viewers to the show but for regulars its a little uneventfull. Yet this weeks episode marks the return of the sexual tension between Olivia and Peter and immediately sets the temperature higher. As for the story… Peter Bishop, who has only recently appeared unexpectedly in the alternate...

Fringe “Novation” review!

Fringe “Novation” review!

Finally Fringe is back, after a intolerable three weeks the adventure continues, the last episode before the break established that Peter has come back from his twillight. This episode sees him interacting with the rest of the old gang while the side-plot focuses on the return of the new shapeshifters. As for the plot… Olivia and the others of Fringe division attempt to determine the origin of Peter Bishop, who purports himself as Walter’s son who had died as a young boy in the original timeline. Peter refuses to speak to anyone but Walter, but Walter is very reluctant to...

No Fringe for You! at least not this week…

No Fringe for You! at least not this week…

Well, as readers might have guessed, there was yet again no Fringe episode this weeks due to the baseball season on TV in america, some other shows have had to skip an episode as well but Fringe has to skip two. Fringe will be back next friday on November the fourth. The episode is entitled ‘Novation’ and deals with the return of Peter Bishop. With his return our gang is once again complete and I hope that the season will kick into a higher gear otherwise it won’t be back for a fifth season. And here is the Promo video. And the Promo stills…...

Fringe season 4 Alone In The World review!

Fringe season 4 Alone In The World review!

This week’s episode of Fringe is a bit of a mixed bag, it is essentially a ‘monster-of-the-week episode’ but it also moves the storyline of Peter’s disapearance further in a proper way. As for the plot… It begins by showing two boys chasing another even younger boy, evidently one of the boys was slighted and seeks revenge. The younger boy hides out in a abandoned sewer drain and the two other young boys chase after him. Just as one of the boy is set to beat up the boy the they were chasing both of the bullies are grabbed by...

Fringe season 4 episode 2 ‘One Night in October’ review!

Fringe season 4 episode 2 ‘One Night in October’ review!

This weeks episode of Fringe can almost together with the first episode of the season be seen as one story. This time the story plays out mostly in the mirror universe though we don’t see much of the high tech gadgets…. As for the plot…. Olivia is contacted by agent Broyles about 23 unsolved homocides, as Olivia starts to question Broyles about why she has never heard of the case he reveals that it was brought forward by Fauxlivia from the mirror universe. In a strange plot twist it is revealed that although most events from season 3 occurred even...

Fringe season 4 ‘Neither here nor there’ review!

Fringe season 4 ‘Neither here nor there’ review!

Fringe is back for another season. After the series started slipping in the viewer ratings Fringe producers have promised less convaluted plot lines and fewer story arcs, they are going as far as saying that season 4 will be a kind of reboot for Fringe. That is all well and good, but its not true for the first episode of season 4 entitled ‘Neither here not there’ (aptly named) as it continues the storyline of season 3 during which the two Fringe alternate realities were partly merged allowing continous contact between them to resolve their conflicts. This fact, abd the...

Fringe promo material released!

Fringe promo material released!

It is scarcely a week until the 23rd when Fringe Season 4 will kick off. So far we know Olivia and Walther will have to make do without Peter because he has been erased from history by the machine. And that is about the only real spoiler we have for the fourth season, the new promomaterial ia mainly built up out of previous season material, though a cool new poster has emerged (spot the Observers!). Here is the first flashback of the previous seasons, for the rest… check out Youtube….. There is also a promo trailer, and it uses stobing...

New Fringe Teaser!

New Fringe Teaser!

Here is the fourth Fringe teaser entitled ‘Where is Peter Bishop?”, similar to the first three teasers they stay true to their category with only revealing tiny snippets of information. The shows creative staff always kinda like these sorts of mystery things, its gets the buzz going for their show…. and it does seem to be working, there is already quite a bit of buzz surrounding season 4 of Fringe. Despite the creative staff of Fringe being from ‘Bad Robot Productions’ I would have expected more from them over the years when it comes to this sort of hype creating...

Fringe season 4 preview!

Fringe season 4 preview!

On the 23rd of september Fringe will be back for another season of 22 episodes. Last season didn’t do too well in the ratings and ever since season 2 there have been rumours of cancellation which have all been subsequently disputed most vigorously by Fox. However, with an average viewership of season 3 of less than 4 million the show has definitely taken a hit from the high days when viewership regularly topped 9 million. One thing season 4 will try to do differently is it will try not to alienate viewers with a complex story arc, a problem that even plagued ‘Lost’...
