Carter is asked to question the four suspects. Finch keeps assists by creating fake information for Reese. Elias offers to help Reese but Reese refuses as the FBI knows The Man in the Suit has an affiliation with Elias. Finch bribes a suspect to tell the FBI who the man is as the FBI suspects he knows. Defiance new series action trailer online!

Defiance new series action trailer online!

Defiance is a new sci-fi TV-shows from the Syfy Channel and will start airing. Yes, that is the one where there is also a MMO game called Defiance being released simultaneously and supposedly they have some interaction together. Personally, after seeing a lengthy gameplay movie of the MMO I am a little bit disappointed. The world of the game is uninspired (where is San Francisco?) and the gameplay is far too action oriented to last for long. Of course I could be wrong. For those who don’t know what Defiance is, it also stars Jaime Murray (Warehouse 13, Spartacus and Dexter). Which should...

Revolution extended preview!

Revolution extended preview!

Revolution will be back on March 25th with an as of yet unnamed episode. The extended preview (below) starts with a rather snappy recap of the first ten episodes which show just how far the show has progressed. Revolution is at this moment in the danger zone when it comes to ratings. Major dislikes by fans have so far been the drama which is a bit artificial and the one or two dull episodes here and there. Also the character that Tracy Spiridakos plays has not been liked very much, though I personally disagree. Anyway, the second half of the season definitely needs...

SciFiEmpire.net wishes all readers a ‘Happy New Year’!

SciFiEmpire.net wishes all readers a ‘Happy New Year’!

Well, as the author of www.scifiempire.net I wish everybody who visits this site regularly a Happy New Year! I know I haven’t updated the site in like a month but that is because I have been rather busy with my studies. That said.. At this moment most TV-shows are having their mid-season break anyway so there isn’t much to report. Here is hoping for a very sci-fi new year. One that is better than the rather lousy 2012. Please note that Revolution will be back on March 25th and Warehouse 13 in late April. Syfy’s new series Defiance should also...

Elementary ‘The Long Fuse’ Review

Elementary ‘The Long Fuse’ Review

The eight episode of Elementary has as guest star Lisa Edelstein as a high-classed CEO of a PR firm. Sherlock must investigate why a bomber wished to attack the firm and as such discovers a number of person’s with ugly dispositions. Watson meanwhile tries to find a sponsor for Sherlock that would look after him when their companionship ends in a few weeks time. This latter plot gets a little bit muddled by the ‘perpetrator of the week’ story but ends with an interesting twist. As for the plot of ‘The long Fuse’… The episode starts when a bomb hidden in an...

Revolution ‘Nobody’s Fault But Mine’ Mid-season finale Review!

Revolution ‘Nobody’s Fault But Mine’ Mid-season finale Review!

Finally, our gang have managed to reach Philadelphia. So far it is has been quite a journey for both the characters and the quality of the show as both have seen clear ups and downs. This episode that will mark the mid-season finale had the dubious duty of preventing this show from being cancelled after what can only be described as viewer fatigue, it seems to have lived up to expectation for the most part. As for the plot of ‘Nobody’s Fault But Mine’… The gang infiltrates Philadelphia, but Aaron, Nora, and Charlie get captured while hiding at the home of...

Total Recall - Three breasted girl

Total Recall (2012) Movie Review!

This summer the remake to the 1990 movie Total Recall from Paul Verhoeven was released in theaters. Frankly it was a remake nobody was really waiting for as the original starring Arnold Schwarzenegger is just brilliant. So instead of a movie that adopts a Phillip K. Dick story that has not yet appeared on the big screen we get movie based on one that already has left a big legacy. The remake also choose do away with the whole Mars subplot and it’s mysticism and instead it tries something new with a transport tunnel through the center of the earth, which left me...

Revolution Kashmir Review!

Revolution Kashmir Review!

The ninth episode entitled Kashmir is the second to last to air before Revolution will take the rather long break until late March. Unfortunately Kashmir was hardly the game changing episode that the show needed in order to secure proper viewer ratings when it will return to air. Instead, Kashmir can be best described as a bottle show intended to save funds for the mid-season finale airing next week. This may raise hopes for the next episode but also means that Kashmir is flawed when it comes to action scenes and the exciting context that go along with them. This episode focuses mostly...

Fringe Five-Twenty-Ten Review!

Fringe Five-Twenty-Ten Review!

Five-Twenty-Ten acts as a mid-season finale for Fringe’s fifth season. It quite effectively wraps up some left-over issues from season 4 such as what Nina Sharp and William Bell have been up to. This episode picks up the pace considerably and the suspense is definitely a lot greater than the usual procedural episodes of Fringe. So far I am liking the format of season 5, it compares starkly with season 4 which seemed sort of lost in action between season 3 and 5. As for the plot of Five-Twenty-Two… Peter (Joshua Jackson), recently having injected one of the Observers’ devices in...

Elementary episode 7 ‘One way to get off’ Review!

Elementary episode 7 ‘One way to get off’ Review!

Normally I do not review non-sci-fi shows on this website but since sci-fi is undergoing a bit of drought I thought it would be a good idea to write about ‘Elementary’ the latest Sherlock Holmes inspired TV-show starring Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock Holmes, Lucy Liu as doctor Joan Watson and Aidan Quinn as Captain Gregson. The show has come about mainly due to the popularity of the British Sherlock series starring Benedict Cumberbatch but distinguishes itself with a new setting and premise. Whereas the British show is very tightly written the American show is procedural . At first it seemed to have...

Now we got the specs for Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome Blu-ray which is scheduled for a February 19th release. Here is the press release… From Universal Cable Productions and the award-winning producing team of the critically acclaimed series “Battlestar Galactica” comes the all-new Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome Unrated Edition. Revolution ‘Children’s Crusade’ Review!

Revolution ‘Children’s Crusade’ Review!

This week’s episode of Revolution has two major storylines, one follows Charlie, Miles, Nora and Aaron as they try to save a kid from being recruited into the Monroe Militia and the other storyline follows Rachel, her son Danny and General Monroe as they play each other out to discover the truth of the blackout. The second storyline gets help from flashbacks which shows just what Rachel Matheson was doing in the years leading up to the blackout. Despite both storylines moving the Revolution mythology along considerably they are a bit muddled because neither gets the proper attention they deserve. As for the plot...

Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome set for November 9 release as webisodes!

Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome set for November 9 release as webisodes!

It’s been a true rollercoaster ride for BSG: Blood and Chrome. First intended as a series of webisodes but then scheduled as a full tv series. Syfy channel passed on this last deal when they made the shows pilot starring Luke Pasquaino last year. Then there were rumors that after the pilot the series would continue on animated. It would seem that the Syfy Channel has come up with the bright idea to first release the pilot to the audience to see what they think. This decision has also been made because more BSG follow-ups have failed to materialize. Now word has...

Fringe ‘An Origin Story’ Review

Fringe ‘An Origin Story’ Review

Fringe ‘An Origin Story’ deals with the direct aftermath of Etta’s death in the previous episode. In many ways it is a story of grief and revenge that has made Fringe suddenly more ‘real’ and less comic like. Previously our Fringe team tried to deal with every enemy through a plan that involved gadgets and  bravado, now the team uses sheer anger and violence to get back at the Observers. The story of ‘An Origin Story’… Peter (Joshua Jackson) and Olivia (Anna Torv) mourn the loss of their daughter Etta. Olivia in particular is shaken up and nearly unresponsive. They prepare to leave Etta’s...

Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer get naked for charity in Acting Outlaws calendar!

Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer get naked for charity in Acting Outlaws calendar!

As part of their charity Acting Outlaws, both Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer have decided to bare all for their 2013 acting outlaws calendar by going pretty much stark naked. From Tricia Helfer it can all be much expected after a whole slew of such photo-shoots. The same can not be said for Katee Sackhoff who ran into some difficulty with her family after a daring shoot about 8 years back. Since then things have changed a bit with increasingly risqué photo’s and acting roles (Nip/Tuck anyone?). Down below are some promo pics of the calendar. I guess the real thing that...
